Abstract<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> The research was conducted on fig trees,<\/span><\/span> black d<\/span><\/span>iyala<\/span><\/span> cultivar<\/span><\/span>, at the age of (13) years,<\/span><\/span>
planted in one of the orchards affiliated<\/span><\/span> with<\/span><\/span><\/span> the General Directorate of Vocational Education \/<\/span><\/span>
Vocational Section in Diwaniyah Mixed Agricultural Preparatory School \/ Al<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>Qadisiyah<\/span><\/span>
Governorate for the seaso<\/span><\/span>n 2022. 81<\/span><\/span><\/span> black fig trees were selected<\/span><\/span>, homogen<\/span><\/span>eous in size, height,<\/span><\/span>
and growing<\/span><\/span><\/span> strength as much as possible. They are planted on dimensions (4 x 4) meters.<\/span><\/span> to<\/span><\/span>
study the effect of<\/span><\/span> pruning (0, 25, and 50%) and spraying with<\/span><\/span> gibberellic acid<\/span><\/span><\/span> (0, 30, and 6<\/span><\/span>0<\/span><\/span>
mg.L<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>1<\/span><\/span>) and chelated iron (0, 1, and 2 g.L<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>1<\/span><\/span>) in the nutrient<\/span><\/span><\/span> content of leaves of fig trees, Black<\/span><\/span>
Diyala cultivar. The experiment was designed according to a<\/span><\/span> randomized<\/span><\/span><\/span> complete<\/span><\/span><\/span> block<\/span><\/span><\/span> design<\/span><\/span>
(RCBD).<\/span><\/span><\/span> The results showed that the levels of pruning and the<\/span><\/span><\/span> concentrations of spraying<\/span><\/span>
gibberellic acid<\/span><\/span> and chelated iron on the trees were positive in increasing the leaf content of the<\/span><\/span>
nutrients under study compared to the comparison treatment, whether it was single or combined.<\/span><\/span>
The treatments P<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/span>, G<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/span><\/span> and F<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/span><\/span> were<\/span><\/span><\/span> characterized by giving them the best results, as they recorded<\/span><\/span>
2.57, 2.35 and 2.26% for nitrogen, 0.244, 0.199 and 0.183% for phosphorus, 1.83, 1.66 and<\/span><\/span>
1.60% for potassium, 1.007, 0.925 and 0.890% for calcium, 472.80, 391.00, and 359.95 mg.kg<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>

1.<\/span> Introduction<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
The cultivation of fruit trees o<\/span>ccupies an important economic position due to<\/span> their<\/span> nutritional and<\/span>
economic value to humans. Among the fruit trees are fig trees,<\/span> Ficus<\/span> carica<\/span> L., which belongs to the<\/span>
Moraceae family [1]. The genus Ficus<\/span> contains 800 species, the largest part of which is classified as<\/span>
ornamental plants, most of which are evergreen, and limited numbers of these trees have edible fruits.<\/span>
It is believed that its original home is the south of the Arabian Peninsula, as well as<\/span> the spread of its<\/span>
cultivatio<\/span>n in the subtropical regions [2, 3,<\/span> 4].<\/span><\/span>
The estimated production of figs in Iraq, according to the report of the productio<\/span>n of summer fruit<\/span>
trees for the year 2021 of the Ministry of Planning \/ Central Bureau of Statistics \/ Directorate of<\/span>
Agricultural Statistics, is (9322) tons, The average productivity of one tree is (22.58) kg.tree<\/span>–<\/span>1, and the<\/span>
highest productivity per tree<\/span> is (33.00) kg.tree<\/span>–<\/span>1. The cultivated area in Iraq is 459 hectares and the total<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
